Travel Note
Around the venue there are two areas- Parga town and Valtos beach. We are not going to suggest hotels as there are so many to choose from and everyone has different requirements. There are also a lot of self catering apartment options, typical for Greece, on Booking.com, Air BnB, ect. as well as villas. Parga town has the most restaurants/bars with Krioneri beach and another small cove beach. It has lots of hotels/apartments to choose from. Valtos has one larger beach with some bigger hotels. To get between Parga town and Valtos beach you can walk aprox. 15 mins (over a steep hill), get a taxi or get a water taxi. The wedding venue is on the hill between the two.
Travel Note
The main airport for Parga is Preveza International Airport. The airport is an aprox. 1 hour transfer into Parga. Alternatively I have seen online that people often fly into Corfu and get the ferry across: - Fly into Corfu International airport. - Get a taxi from the airport to the Corfu town port (aprox. 15 mins). - Ferry to Igoumenitsa port (aprox. 1 hour 45 mins). - Taxi into Parga. (aprox. 45 mins). We have not tried this ourselves and it is more traveling but people say there are a lot more options for flights and it works out cheaper than flying to Preveza.
Travel Note
Please be aware in Greece there is tourism tax (Climate Resilience Tax). It is calculated per room and is based on how many nights you're staying and how many stars the hotel is. It's not included when you book your hotel so will be an extra cost once you get there.
