Nice Dinner: The Regional (Our Favorite), Bistro Nautile, Rare Italian, Sonny Lubicks Steakhouse, Ace Gillett's, Little on Mountain More casual lunch or dinner: Penrose, Beau Jo's Colorado Pizza, Yellow Crunch, Persimmon, Scrumpy's (They have the BEST gluten free chicken tenders) Breakfast: Mugs Old Town, Urban Egg, The Bread Chic, Butterfly Cafe, La Creperie, Rainbow cafe, The fox den Grab and go sandwich/Burrito: La boutique, Yampa Sandwich, Illegal Pete's Mostly Drinks with food options: Social, Locust Cider, Pour Brothers Breweries: Salt Road, Odell, New Belgium, and Stodgy have rotating food trucks. Breckenridge brewery has dining options Specialty shops: Nuance chocolate, Welsh Rabbit Wine and Cheese, Happy Lucky's Tea house, Elliot's Martini Bar

Becs and Phil's Favorite FoCo Activities

-Bike ride down Mountain, loop around city park lake path, and go up Bryan Ave to have breakfast and a matcha at The Fox Den -Hike up to the top of Horsetooth mountain! Download "Horsetooth Falls and Horsetooth mountain Loop" on Alltrails and Uber or Drive to Horsetooth Mountain Open space parking lot -Walk Down Walnut Street and check out the fossils at Nature's own, pick up a new book at Old Firehouse books, get a Madame Grey tea at Happy Lucky's tea house, have a laugh at gift store Curiosities (They also have great earrings!), and end with wine and cheese at The Welsh Rabbit -You know Becca loves to thrift shop... and regular shop. Her favorite thrift stores in downtown are Wayward, Brand spanking used, and Dandelions & Rust. Her favorite boutiques are Kansas City Kitty, Ivy Boutique, Blue Harvest Apparel, and Trimble Court Artisans. Opinion: The Ace hardware downtown is the best ace hardware in the world.

Entertainment and Live Music

FoCo has great venues that offer comedy and live music. Check out The Comedy Fort, Washingtons, or The Aggie. Many breweries including Salt Road, Hello Brew co, Odell, and New Belgium also have live music - check their websites!

Daytrips out of FoCo

-Go up to Rocky Mountain National Park for a hike, followed by drinks in Estes Park. Maybe squeeze in a Ghost Tour of the Stanley Hotel while up in Estes! -Go flower-spotting on the Poudre river on Young Gulch trail followed by Brunch and a Bloody Mary at The Mishawaska -Rent a paddleboard at Horsetooth Reservoir at What’s SUP South Bay Rentals. Pro Tip: Get there early to get a parking spot -Drive down to Boulder and hike the flat irons -Visit Meow Wolf in Denver for an immersive art experience
