We are keeping it semi formal, feel free to come in your summer best. We will also aspire to have an active dance floor, so keep that in mind for your feet :-) In late June the temperature generally fluctuates between - 20°C (68°F) - 22°C (72°F) with lows generally between 11°C (52°F) - 14°C (57°F). You do not need to change clothes between the ceremony and reception (unless you want to of course, that's up to you).
For many guests, it may be your first time in Copenhagen. Below is an overview of different areas of Copenhagen for you to visit and explore: Nørrebro: This is a vibrant and diverse neighborhood known for its lively atmosphere, street art, and multitude of shops and restaurants. It's a place that never seems to sleep and is popular among younger crowds and students. Vesterbro: Recognized for its hip and bohemian vibe, Vesterbro is teeming with cool cafes, trendy bars, and a bustling nightlife. It's also the home of the Meatpacking District, which has been transformed into a culinary hotspot. Copenhagen K (Copenhagen Central): This is the city center, where you'll find a mix of tourist attractions, historic buildings, and shopping streets such as Strøget. It's an elegant area with beautiful architecture and cultural landmarks. Frederiksberg: This area is known for its classier and serene atmosphere, with beautiful parks like Frederiksberg Have. Frederiksberg is ideal for those looking for a more upscale and quiet place to stay. Østerbro: A family-friendly and upscale neighborhood characterized by wide boulevards, fancy shops, and cozy cafes. It's quieter compared to the city center but still has its own charm and elegance.
