Answer

You can RSVP directly through the RSVP tab on this website. Please let us know if you’ll be joining us for both the wedding and the pool party, and note any dietary preferences (especially if you don’t eat meat or animal products) so we can plan accordingly.

There’s no official end time—if we make it past 2:00 am, we’ll make a small donation to a local school in celebration!

Cocktail Attire: Breezy Yucatán Style Think flowy dresses, lightweight fabrics, and tropical elegance. Please no jeans or white clothing. The event will be outdoors, so comfortable shoes are encouraged.

Answer

Yes! For guests not staying at Hacienda Sac Chich, shuttle service will be provided: Departure: from Courtyard by Marriott Mérida Downtown on the day of the wedding Return transportation: provided after the celebration Exact shuttle times will be shared closer to the date.

Saturday, February 21, 2026 – Pool Party at 12:00 pm Hacienda Sac Chich Our celebration continues with an all-day pool party! There will be tacos, cold drinks, and sunshine. Bring your swimsuit, towel, and good vibes—you can come and go as you please.

Taxis are not permitted inside Mexican airports, but don’t worry! We’ve partnered with Andrea Castro, our travel concierge from Yuc’atalove, to make your travel smooth and stress-free. 🛂 Do I need a passport or visa?

Answer

All guests traveling from outside Mexico will need a valid passport to enter the country. For U.S. and Canadian citizens, no visa is required for stays under 180 days. Be sure your passport is valid for at least 6 months past your travel dates.

💸 What currency is used in Mexico?

Answer

Mexico’s currency is the Mexican Peso (MXN). Most places accept credit cards, but it’s helpful to have some cash on hand for taxis, tips, or small shops. ATMs are widely available.

🚗 How far is Mérida from the airport?

Answer

Manuel Crescencio Rejón International Airport (MID) is the closest airport—just 15–20 minutes from downtown Mérida and the Courtyard Marriott. If you need a ride, contact Andrea, our concierge, for airport transfers (taxis aren’t permitted inside the terminal).

Mérida follows Central Standard Time (CST) — the same as U.S. cities like Chicago or Houston.

Answer

February is one of the best months to visit Mérida! Expect warm, sunny days (mid-80s °F / high 20s °C) and comfortable evenings (low 70s °F / low 20s °C). Bring sunscreen, sunglasses, and light layers.

Answer

Your presence is the greatest gift! Since we’ll be celebrating abroad, your travel is more than enough — we kindly request no boxed gifts. If you’d still like to give something, we’ll leave it up to you.

Children are welcome to join the festivities — please include them in your RSVP count so we can plan accordingly.

Answer

Expect an open-air fiesta with cocktails, dinner, and dancing late into the night! Comfortable footwear is encouraged, and the dance floor will definitely be well-used.

💧 Is the water safe to drink?

Answer

We recommend drinking bottled or filtered water. Most hotels and restaurants provide it, and bottled water will be available at all wedding events.

💅 Will hair and makeup be available for guests?

Answer

Yes! Our travel concierge, Andrea, can help arrange hair and makeup appointments in Mérida or even at your hotel before the wedding.

🕰️ What should I do if I arrive early or stay longer?

Answer

Mérida is amazing to explore — we encourage it! You can visit cenotes, Mayan ruins (like Uxmal), or take a day trip to the beach in Progreso. Andrea can help plan and book activities for anyone arriving early or extending their trip.

📱 Will I need cell service or Wi-Fi?

Answer

Most hotels and restaurants offer free Wi-Fi, and many U.S. cell carriers provide international data plans that work in Mexico. Check with your provider before traveling.
