For years, our story was quietly unfolding on the sidelines of our kids’ sporting events. For four years we cheered in the same stands, shared conversations between games, and built a friendship without ever realizing it would one day become something much more. In October, life brought both of us through difficult seasons. What started as simple conversations and checking in on each other slowly became a safe place to land. We found comfort in honesty, laughter in the middle of chaos, and a friendship that grew stronger with every conversation. By December, that friendship had turned into something undeniable. What we had built through years of knowing each other suddenly made perfect sense, and dating felt like the most natural step in the world. Just a couple months later, we knew what our hearts had already figured out long before we said it out loud — we were meant to do life together. In February, we said yes to forever. What started as two parents cheering from the sidelines turned into the greatest team we could ever be — partners, best friends, and now husband and wife.
