WE'RE GETTING MARRIED!

Nathan and I met at Mississippi College freshman orientation. However, even though we were not aware of it, we had mutual childhood friends and mentors. He apparently liked me from day one, but I never noticed it. Even though he liked me, he avoided me (typical male) for an entire year because he was not in a comfortable place to date at the time. He still managed to capture my heart without even saying a word to me. What I did not know was that he was watching over me and protecting me from a distance when I was in a not - so - good relationship. Months later, after I became single, we ran into each other at my cousin's (Chris) ministry ordination, and we exchanged "hellos". Later that evening, I messaged him, asking who I should take for accounting. After answering me and asking me how I was doing, he then asked me if I'd like to catch up over dinner. I said yes (because who could say no to food?) and we went on our first date to Outback Steakhouse. I knew from then that there was something different about him, so I decided to go on a few more dates with him. By the 8th date, after asking my dad for permission, he asked me to be his girlfriend...Nearly a year later, I find myself saying “yes” to marrying the most wonderful man I know. Since day one, we've grown and are continuing to grow ever so strongly in the Lord. I can not wait to marry this man and to serve the Lord with him. I pray for God to bless our marriage.
