We're so excited to celebrate with you!

We met at a frozen yogurt shop for a small group our church had! I (Becca) showed up late because I took a nap before heading over and when I got there everyone was already there. I hadn't met Moii yet so I came in at a 10/10 saying, "HI!!! I'm Becca it's nice to meet you." And Moii quietly said, "Hi I'm Moises." I thought he was super cute and we became friends after that and hung out a lot with our friends together.

We had been hanging out off and on with mutual friends for about six months after we met and one day, a couple of my friends and I wanted to go to Disneyland. I invited Moii and asked if he wanted to come after he was off work. He said yes and we all carpooled and had a great time at Disneyland. He dropped us off at our cars but I stayed in the car cause I wanted to show him something and we ended up talking for almost four hours. That night, I knew something was special about him and wanted to get to know him more. We hung out a lot more after that and had more late night talks in the car. I remember thinking about him and having butterflies and hoped he liked me back because I was really starting to like him a lot. On November 12th, he asked me to date him and be his girlfriend. I was so ecstatic and excited and beyond happy that he asked me and I couldn't wait to get to know him more and more.

Fast forward 3 years and Moii, myself, and some of his family planned a Disneyland trip when they re opened. I was so excited to go back to Disneyland and a while I thought he might propose on this trip, I thought about it more and said in my head, "It's been so long since we've been to Disney so we'll probably just do Disney all day nonstop. Plus it's a family trip and he might just want to do it with just us." We were having such a blast at Disneyland and we were about to park hop over to California Adventure but then his sister Ana said, "Hey I want to go take some pictures by the castle!" So we walked over to the castle and then headed down by Snow White's wishing well for better shade. I love the wishing well area so I was looking at everything and I was about to turn around and his cousin Daniel asked me if I could name all seven of the dwarves. I was like, "Um yes!" and then proceeded to name them all. When I finished I kept looking at the waterfall for a few seconds until I realized everyone standing by me was gone. In that moment, I was thinking, "WAIT A MINUTE!!!" I turned around and found Moii on one knee and he asked me to marry him. In the excitement and heat of the moment I couldn't fully process what was happening and said to him about to cry, "Are you serious?!" He said yes and I said, "Of course!!!" And then we were officially engaged! It was so special and I felt so loved that he went to the effort to make this moment so special for us and I cannot wait to tell our kids this story.
