What should I wear?

Answer

The short answer is to wear what you're comfortable in. The long answer is that the dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. That generally means cocktail dresses, evening dresses, sundresses, casual suits, slacks, button-downs, and sports coats (ties or no ties) are all perfect for our wedding. The event is entirely indoors, so feel free to wear heels if you wish! You will be underdressed in jeans and t-shirts, and overdressed in a full tuxedo. If in doubt, don't hesitate to reach out to us and ask.

What are the details on our hotel blocks?

Answer

We have set up hotel blocks at 2 hotels: The Residence Inn Marriott Hartford Downtown and DoubleTree Hilton Hartford Downtown (links for booking are located on the 'Hotels' tab of this website. These two hotels are both within a 5 minute walk from the venue. The blocks have been set up for the 2 nights of August 29 and 30, but you are able to edit the stay if only one night is needed. There should not be a cap on the number of rooms available in the blocks, so please reach out to us if it appears otherwise
