April 10th 2021 - We got married! Now approaching 10 years together, there are so many people that have positively influenced our relationship. From growing up in the same hometown to meeting at college ROCK CHALK! and now living in Breckenridge we are ecstatic to share our most important day with our most important people. We couldn't wait to get married, but we have decided postponed our wedding reception to safely celebrate with you all on Feb. 11, 2022. Please save our new date!

Looking back, there may have been a few signs, but when I woke up this Saturday morning we only had plans to tackle my favorite hike; I thought that was it. For some reason, Luke was adamant on an early start, the sun had not come up when we got to the trail head, and we started hiking to a beautiful sunrise. I was doing my best to keep up with Luke as he raced up the mountain (again... didn't think anything of it). After some breaks and even contemplation of turning back home we made it to the top. A spot we had never been before, but always spoke of going. I pointed out a giant boulder on the other side of the lake that would be a perfect spot for us to sit, listen to music, and eat our snacks. I sat down and was looking out across the lake. When I turned around, Luke was on one knee and asked me to marry him... after initial shock Luke asked again and I said YES. We soaked in the moment and enjoyed our down climb quite smitten with each other. I was surprised again when Luke had some family and friends travel to Breckenridge to celebrate our engagement with us. Truly, an amazing day that I will never forget!
