The Wedding Website of Rebecca Siegel and Logan Barer
Meet our family and friends who are walking down the aisle with us! Well not really with us, actually right before us. But they'll be up there with us. You'll see them.

Eli Barer

Best Man

Pictured here doing what he does best, Eli is Logan's best brother and best man. A consistently good bowler (no bumpers) whose perfect day includes both Subway and Taco Bell, Eli is almost as big of a Superman and Neil Diamond fan as Logan is. He enjoys sitting at his computer and browsing Youtube for all kinds of music across all genres including everything from Neil Diamond and The Beatles to the most random, obscure, and weird music on the internet. He lives in a group home in Connecticut with his friend Walter, among others, and loves making visits to Mom and Dad's house where he can see Bodhi and go to the Diner. Logan is thrilled to have Eli as his best man, and hopes he enjoys the food!

Lucy Siegel

Maid of Honor

From the time they were young through today, Lucy has always had Rebecca's back. In the late 90s/early 2000's, she warned the evil witch on the Snow White ride in Disney World not to hurt her sister, and has heard nothing from the evil witch since. Coincidence? We think not. Lucy is loyal, kind, and hilarious, and has been cracking up Rebecca and the whole flock of Siegels for the past 26 years. Ask her about the time she accompanied Rebecca to the Emergency Room for a head injury for a good laugh (and an embarrassing story about Rebecca). Her loyalty is unmatched and you know she loves you, despite her dislike of hugs. Rebecca could not imagine anyone else as her Maid of Honor, and is ecstatic Lucy will be at the Chuppah with her on this big day.

Solomon Barer

Groomsman

Solomon is one of Logan's oldest cousins, by physical age only. Fortunate to grow up close to each other, Logan and Solomon were able to hang out more often than just Passover and Thanksgiving. While on those days they would sneak away to play The Bigs on the Wii while everyone else either set or cleaned up the table, meet-ups were more frequent once cars were in play. Solomon has been present for many important milestones, like Rebecca's surprise 27th birthday, moving from Connecticut to California, and our Engagement! He and Logan have an eerily similar sense of humor and share many interests including comedy, TV/movies, and two other things. Solomon just graduated with a Masters in Engineering, which is weird. He only eats pizza and mozzarella sticks.

Meka Uffenheimer

Bridesmaid

Meka and Rebecca, or "ReMeka," as they rebranded in 2014, became friends as a result of their EMT class at Brandeis in 2013. They both awkwardly got lunch together one day and the rest is history. They were incredibly close in college on the EMT Corps, fondly called BEMCo, and celebrated admission to medical school with a Caribbean cruise in 2016. Meka is always down to talk for hours (with a good fidget toy!) with Rebecca and cook their cares away. Fate had their paths cross again, as they both matched into Children's Hospital Los Angeles for their Pediatrics Residency. Rebecca is ecstatic for Meka to support her on this big day.

Jonathan Beck

Groomsman

Jon and Logan have been the best of friends ever since they first met on the on ramp to the Merritt Parkway near Bristol, CT. Freshman year roommates at Ithaca college, Jon liked Neil Diamond *before* he met Logan, which foreshadowed the rest of their relationship. After singing Neil, Billy, Frank, and show tunes at the top of their lungs to get through college, Jon got a job with the Binghamton Mets where he abandoned the Phillies completely to become a die hard Mets fan. Despite Logan as Spock and Jon as Kirk in the above picture, Jon has always been the Spock to Logan's Kirk. A steady, logical presence which helped get him through difficult times at college. Logan is thrilled to share this special day with Jon, as many other special days have been spent the same way.

Katie White

Bridesmaid

Katie and Rebecca had been friendly since the beginning of medical school, but became fast friends on their Surgery rotation and have been "wicked" close ever since. Katie is one of the warmest, friendliest, and most real people Rebecca knows. They have so many incredible memories together, including prepping for Residency applications together, many walks with their puppies (Mallomar and Katie's wonderful pup, Cali), and Katie was in on the surprise proposal and took all of the amazing photos from that day, so be sure to compliment her on her photography skillz! Rebecca is honored Katie will join her and support her on her wedding day.

Tyler Colby

Groomsman

With the exception of Eli, Logan has known Tyler far longer than any other groomsman. Ever since they played together on the Mets (little league, not MLB - yet) with Mr. Colby at the helm, Tyler and Logan have bonded over many things, but especially baseball. Logan remembers being the only Freshman on the Varsity Baseball team at Joel Barlow High School, looking to Tyler for excellent leadership and friendship. They coached a summer team together before they got "real" jobs, a summer which Logan looks back on with great fondness. Tyler is a long-time wonderful friend who Logan is elated to include in this big day. Also, he has a Corgi named Rocco, which is great.

Jessica Malone

Bridesmaid

Jess has been Rebecca's best friend since Miss Martel's third grade class in 2002. They would play Hamtaro together, play in the pool at Jess's house, and get into all kinds of mischief. Jess always gives Rebecca the best laughs and they can always be silly together, and have so many stories together. Ask her about the time she had a real, live FISH in her SWIMMING POOL and she put it in the drain to set it to freedom! Even when they were separated by 3,000 miles for college and medical/grad school, they always made time for each other during school breaks as well as over FaceTime. Rebecca loves Jess and can't wait for her to be a part of this big day!

Russell Davey

Groomsman

After becoming friendly in their sophomore year of high school, Logan and Russell really hit it off when they started spending their Friday nights at Diana’s house for Improv classes. Logan’s fondest memories of those classes aren’t getting on stage and performing, it’s sitting in the back of the room with Russell, making quips about what was happening on stage, then getting death stares from Diana for being “disruptive" or whatever. Russell, a big fan of Sam Hunt, shares a very similar sense of humor with Logan - But that’s not important right now. Logan was honored to serve as Russell’s groomsman when he got married last October, and is elated to have Russell honor him by doing the same for him.

Milo Barer

Bridesmaid

Milo is one of the most genuine, open, and kind people Rebecca has ever met. She and Rebecca became friends right away when they met at the Barer family's Hanukkah celebration in the winter of 2018. She is a singing POWERHOUSE and Rebecca hopes you get a chance to hear her sing over the course of the weekend! Even in her low points, Milo makes it a priority to ensure that everyone around her feels loved, cared for, and appreciated. She has had more injuries than Rebecca can count, and is an excellent storyteller, and will likely tell you her war stories if you ask (and even if you don't). Rebecca can't wait to gain another sister, and have her at the Chuppah on this day.
