We met in middle school through mutual friends, and were “boyfriend and girlfriend” for a little while- Aka would chat on Facebook and occasionally meet up at a dance. We re-connected Freshman year of high school. Kylan asked Becca to be his girlfriend Sophomore year and the rest is history. We have been together ever since! Becca went to University of Rhode Island and Kylan went off to boot camp to join the Marine Corps. After this, Kylan went to New England Institute of Technology where they were finally in the same state again! We lived together in Providence, RI for about 6 months before moving to Boston in 2020 where we lived for 2 years. We also lived in South Carolina for about 4 months while Becca travel nursed. In 2022 we bought our first house, which has definitely been an adventure of its own, on the Seacoast of NH. We love spending time with our amazing friends and family and of course with our dog Lilah. We love the life we have built together and cannot wait to finally make it official with everyone we love!

We were going to Newport RI with some of our best friends for the weekend, and Kylan was supposed to be meeting us Saturday, but to Becca's surprise he was there when they arrived Friday night. We all arrived and Kylan was standing there in the park and got down on one knee. He popped the question in front of the most beautiful sunset and then we spent the weekend celebrating with some of our closest friends. Easiest yes ever!
