West 6th Street

West 6th Street, Austin, TX

West 6th Street is an eclectic mix of outdoor patio icehouses, dance clubs, and fine dining restaurants. Kwamie and Becca have had plenty of fun at the many bars on West 6th. We would recommend Little Woodrows, Bee's Knee's, Cat's Pajamas and Concrete Cowboy.

Austin's Hike and Bike Trail at Lady Bird Lake

1200 W. Cesar Chavez St., Austin, TX

The Hike and Bike Trail is a low-grade trail, wide enough to accommodate both cyclists and pedestrian traffic, making it a leisurely, enjoyable ride for cyclists, and runners. Because the trail winds through downtown, there are access points and parking all along the route, making it easy to choose your distance, detours, and side trips, all in view of the Austin skyline.

One of Becca's FAVORITES! Matt's El Rancho has some of the best Tex-Mex in the city. Fun and vibrant environment and amazing drinks. Becca orders a Knockout Margarita and the Tacos Al Carbon.

Lucy's Fried Chicken

2218 College Avenue, Austin, TX 78704

Arguably, Kwamie's favorite ATX restaurant. The offerings include fresh gulf oysters, an innovative take on comfort food classics, and fried chicken that’s pretty dang perfect. Freshly-made sides, salads, and pies round out the menu while the bar offers creative craft cocktails and plenty of cold beer
