Jerry had mentioned a week prior that he had a special dinner reserved for us. He mentioned the reservation was a new restaurant and it was a paid reservation. He continued to remind me every day up until the day to ensure I’d still want to go. We get ready to go and the whole way, he would not stop talking .. about the most random things .. like COWS ! When we arrive, he parked in a driveway and tells me to get off the truck. I walk down a lit pathway to see both his family and mine holding a single rose. As I walk through the path and up a few steps, there’s rose petals and a sign that says “Marry me.” He got down on his knee and now here we are !
