How do I get to the venue?

Answer

If your GPS fails, here's a backup for travel to the wedding: * I-70 West: Take exit 213 for OH-331 toward Flushing. Turn right onto OH-331 N and go 8.5 miles. Look for signs to the wedding site.

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

We are delighted to invite you to join us as we begin our lives together. We are planning an outdoor ceremony, weather permitting, and our preferred attire is dressy casual. The lake will make a lovely backdrop for our ceremony.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Of course there will be children at the wedding! We want everyone to have a good time. So, if you and your family are attending, feel free to leave your kids at home if you want a date night. But for those of you who want to celebrate with your kids, feel free to RSVP. The more the merrier.

What kind of food should I expect to be served at the Reception?

Answer

Join us for a pig roast with the classic sides, including but not limited to: herb potatoes, green beans, baked Mac and cheese, potato salad, coleslaw and rigatoni. We will also have fruit and veggie trays to snack on!

Will there be alcohol beverages served?

Answer

Yes, there will be alcohol. There will be three signature drinks: Whiskey & Coke, Vodka & Cranberry, and Rum & Pineapple. We will also have beer.

Do you have a Gift registry?

Answer

Thank you so much for your love and company on our special day. That is the only gift we could ask for, but if you wish to celebrate in another way, please visit our registry page for information about how you can contribute. Jay and I really appreciate you making the time to be with us on our special day!

Can I take and post pictures of the Wedding on Social Media?

Answer

Of course! We’d love for you to join in our Wedding Photo Scavenger Hunt ( in order to get different points of view from the reception)..... More information will be available at the reception, we hope everyone will join in!! We do ask that guests please refrain from taking photos during the ceremony to reduce the chance of interruption or blocking the photographer's view.

Is there a Smoking Area at the Venue?

Answer

Yes, outside only. Smoking will not be allowed inside The Lakeside Pavilion. We ask that you dispose of ALL cigarettes and cigars into the provided smoking tower.
