The Hunt is Over!

Jarrod and Becca talked for a few weeks before she finally agreed to meet in person. They first meet at Meijer, because that is where Becca thought it was acceptable to meet someone you have been only talking to online. Becca was about to leave for family vacation for a week and Jarrod insisted on meeting before she left. Becca finally caved and said they could meet at Meijer while she picked up a few things for her trip. But only had like 20 mins. Well 2 hours later, Jarrod said, “ I thought you had to pack and leave early in the morning.” Jarrod wanted to take Becca on an actual date when she got back. Becca said, “we’ll see how things go.” The night Becca got back Jarrod wanted to go out. Becca denied and said they could the next day. Jarrod said just come over meet my dog Bella and I’ll cook dinner then you can go home. Becca agreed to that. Dinner went great,she got Bella’s approval and even cooked corn without burning it 😂 Jarrod went out to start Becca’s car to leave and he came back in and said “you’re not going anywhere. You got a flat tire!” Becca laughed and didn’t believe him. However the tire was flat. Luckily Jarrod's grandparents lived up the road and borrowed a portable air compressor. But that meant Becca was going to meet Jarrod’s grandparents. 😬 Well the compressor blew up while inflating the tire. Luckily the neighbor had a compressor and they were able to use it to get it good enough to drive to Walmart to get a new tire. Becca’s Grandpa was listed under the account for the car but she had told them to only call her phone number not his! But of course they called him. And next thing you know Grandpa and Aunt Cindy came down to Walmart and met Jarrod. It was Father’s Day weekend and Jarrod's grandparents were having a cookout and he took Becca to meet the rest of the family. Then the following week Jarrod went to Becca’s sisters birthday cookout where he meet the rest of her family.

October 31st 2019 Jarrod was number one out of aunt and uncle. He called and told Becca that their nephew was born, because she didn’t answer the phone. 👶🍼 2020 Survived quarantine together and Becca finishing nursing school….online! 😷👩‍⚕️ September 22nd 2020 Brought home a puppy…….a redbone coonhound named Duke. Bella and Duke are BEST friends! 🐾❤️

Took a trip to Gatlinburg, Tennessee. Jonathan and Jarrod had the whole engagement planned out for months. Jarrod and Becca went down first and Jonathan might join later in the week. But the original plan did not happen. What happened turned out to be more interesting. WHAT THE PLAN WAS SUPPOSE TO BE: Suppose to propose in front of a waterfall but Becca made them all turn around, because she didn’t have hiking boots on. WHAT THE PLAN TURNED INTO: Jarrod and Jonathan pull over on the side of a mountain and said, "let’s go hike in here a little bit." They get out and go just a little into the trail and see a few black bears. One mom and two Cubs! Jonathan tells Becca to go get closer and take some pictures. Jonathan turns to Jarrod and says " it’s now or never." So Jarrod says “Hey Becca!” and she turns around to him down on one knee. He asks the question and she replies with “yeah but get up there is a BIG bear behind us!” It was the dad bear! We all did make it out safely.
