If you need toiletries, a pharmacy, or even a quick snack or drink, head into any CVS, Duane Reade, or Walgreens. This CVS is just the closest to our hotel but you can find any of the three all over the city!
Whole Foods Market
If you’re staying at or near the PUBLIC for a few days and want to pick up some groceries to keep in your hotel room or B&B, this Whole Foods is the closest and most reliable grocery store nearby. They have other locations around Manhattan but there are many other options if you search for grocery stores near you in Google.

Stop in for a cocktail or a bite to eat while strolling through Central Park.
