Question
What time should I arrive at the ceremony and reception?
Answer
The ceremony starts promptly at 1pm at Saint Mary's Catholic Church in Wharton. Please plan to arrive 10-15 minutes early so you do not miss anything or interrupt the ceremony. The cocktail hour at Lake Valhalla begins at 5pm and the reception begins at 6pm. Feel free to arrive a few minutes prior to 5pm if you wish!

What is the dress code?
Answer
Our wedding is semi formal/formal but no jacket required. We just ask that our guests do not wear jeans or any shades of white.

I have food allergies, can I make a special request?
Answer
Yes! If you have any food allergies or special dietary needs please let either Gregory or Rebecca know so they can alert the venue ahead of time.

Is there parking at the ceremony and reception sites?
Answer
There is parking at both the ceremony site and reception site. If you are staying at the hotel we have blocked, there will also be a shuttle providing transportation to and from Lake Valhalla.

Yes! we are still working out the details but there will be a shuttle.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?
Answer
We are having an unplugged ceremony. This means we ask that once the ceremony begins, guests have their phones on silent and put away. We would like for our guests to be present in the moment and enjoy the ceremony. We have hired a wonderful photographer that will capture the ceremony. After the ceremony feel free to take as many pictures as you would like and share them via the QR code you will find around the reception space.

Will there be an open bar?
Answer
There will be an open bar. We just ask everyone to drink responsibly and arrange a way to get home safely.

Can I bring a date?
Answer
We ask that only the people who the invitation is addressed to attend our wedding. If you were provided a plus one, your invitation will either have the name of your plus one or "guest" when you RSVP. You can then enter your guests name. We would like to spend our wedding with those closest to us. We are looking forward to spending our special day with you!

When do I need to RSVP by?
Answer
We ask that you RSVP by no later than September 11, 2025. If we do not hear from you by then, we will assume you are unable to make it.
