We first started talking on Facebook Dating. Rebecca was on a girls trip in Ocean City, MD. Garret's profile came up on Rebecca's new likes. Rebecca liked his profile and that same day he messaged her. We spoke for 3 days and finally met on Monday, June 13. Rebecca was hesitant on meeting Garret, but went and met him anyways. We met in Wrightsville and have been inseparable since.

For our one year anniversary, we decided to go on a beach vacation to Wildwood, NJ. We spent the first day just exploring and walking up and down the boardwalk. On day two, we spent most of our day on the beach. After the day on the beach, we decided to head back to the motel and use the pool before going out for the evening. We went out for dinner and decided to walk on the boardwalk. That night, we decided to take the tram from one end of the beach to the other end. Once we got off the tram, we decided to walk on the beach. It was a clear night and about 10-15 mins into our walk, Garret told me he loved me and got down on one knee and proposed. I was surprised at first, but I said yes without any hesitation. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you.
