Becca and Fede met working at Vista Camps in the Texas hill country in the summer of 2022. We first saw each other when Fede sat across from Becca in the dining hall during lifeguard training. After the moment we locked eyes, we knew there was something special about each other. The rest of that summer was spent passing notes to each other between activities, random dates on our off nights, and falling in love. On June 26th, 2022 Fede asked Becca to be his girlfriend, to which she said yes. Over the next 3 years, Fede finished his degree in Mechatronics Engineering at Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León while Becca finished her degree in Psychology from Colorado Christian University. We filled our years of long distance with Facetime dates, a semester of Spanish immersion for Becca, and trips to the U.S., Mexico, Ecuador, and Guatemala together. On June 26th, 2025 after hiking 5 miles and reaching 14,440 feet elevation Fede proposed to Becca at the top of Mount Elbert in Colorado on our 3 year anniversary. We are so excited to step into this new chapter full of more adventures with all of you!

Becca y Fede se conocieron trabajando en Vista Camps, en la región montañosa de Texas, durante el verano del 2022. La primera vez que se vieron fue cuando Fede se sentó frente a Becca en el comedor durante el entrenamiento de salvavidas. Desde el momento en que cruzaron miradas, supieron que había algo especial entre ellos. El resto de ese verano se la pasaron escribiéndose cartas entre actividades, teniendo citas espontáneas en sus noches libres, y enamorándose. El 26 de junio de 2022, Fede le pidió a Becca que fuera su novia, y ella dijo que sí. Durante los siguientes 3 años, Fede terminó su carrera en Ingeniería Mecatrónica en la UANL, mientras Becca se graduó en Psicología de Colorado Christian University. Llenaron su relación a distancia con citas por Facetime, un semestre de inmersión en español para Becca, y viajes juntos a Estados Unidos, México, Ecuador y Guatemala. El 26 de junio de 2025, después de una caminata de 8 kilómetros y de alcanzar una altitud de 4,401 metros, Fede le propuso matrimonio a Becca en la cima del Monte Elbert en Colorado, en su tercer aniversario. Estamos muy emocionados de empezar este nuevo capitulo de aventuras con ustedes!
