Note from Rebecca: If you have time to dedicate a half day to this beautiful palace, then I recommend making it happen! While the gardens won't be as enjoyable this time of year, the palace itself is breathtaking.

Save this visit for a rainy day - which is very likely this time of year! Even if you aren't interested in shopping, the interior of Galeries Lafayette alone is worth visiting here.
