We're getting married!

Like any classic 2016 love story, we met on Bumble.

Her Version: Our yearly summer Maine trip is something we both look forward to every year. Maine was a special place for my mom and dad. I truly never thought Eric would propose in Maine. The idea of him traveling through an airport with a ring did not seem feasible. We spend our first week and a half where my grandparents grew up and most of my family lives in Bethel, Maine. We trout fish, eat amazing food, and spend quality time with family. Then we head to the coast and spend the last weekend of our yearly trip in Kennebunkport, Maine to eat lobsters, fried clams, and fresh blueberry pie. We had already been in Maine for almost two weeks at that point and the thought of Eric proposing was not on my mind at all. We got to the Nonantum Resort and began getting ready for a day of walking around the town. The Resort has a beautiful spot on the water that I wanted to go see. When we got down to the water, a photographer said she was with the resort and asked to take a photo of us. Eric proposed right then and I was absolutely shocked. I was even more shocked when my best friend, Ashley, ran out followed by my dad and grandparents. His Version: Handled business.
