From the first time I met her it was “WOW” and then the chase was on. I proceeded from there with many “No’s” to walking her home, sitting for a cup of coffee, to having a drink… Now over 3 years of building our lives together! She said YES! In our new favorite place up in the mountains, Cullowhee, NC we took the last boat trip of the year before the marina shut down for the winter. We bundled up and headed out on to the lake to search for the three waterfalls the lake boasts, little did I know we wouldn't find them all that day. An hour into the trip, I turned to ask Duncan something but before I could he asked me something, he asked me to marry him. I said yes, well I was stuck on a boat we joke.
