Our story technically began way back in 2012, when we were both students in a computer class at LSC-PA. Domingo sat in the back, I (Rebecca) sat up front, and while we never actually spoke during class, Domingo did send me a Facebook friend request—which I accepted. We didn’t realize it at the time, but that small gesture quietly opened the first chapter of our story. Fast forward to 2017—five years later—we matched on a dating site. Still, we didn’t rush into anything right away. I started noticing that I was unintentionally liking Domingo’s Facebook posts all the time (turns out, he’s pretty funny). He eventually messaged me again, and this time we finally planned a real date. In December of 2017, we had our first date at Tuscany, then headed over to the Lamar University Senior Art Show to explore the exhibits together. From that night on, things just felt easy and right. In November of 2019, we took the next step and moved in together in Mont Belvieu, Texas. Since then, we’ve shared homes—and memories—in Baytown, Katy, and Port Neches. Now, we’re beginning our biggest adventure yet in Billings, Montana. What started as a quiet connection in a college classroom has grown into a beautiful, laughter-filled life together. We can’t wait to celebrate the next chapter with all of you!
