David and Rebecca met through mutual friends one summer evening back in 2016. The group had decided to meet up at a local bar in Fed Hill where most of them lived (shout-out MaGerks). David saw Rebecca and knew he needed to say hello, and they hit it off that first night talking for hours. A few weeks went by, but by the time David texted Rebecca she had "gotten a new phone", (aka never saved his number). She responded to his text, "New phone, who dis?". He asked her out for Shoyou Sushi and drinks.. and, as they say, the rest is history.
