Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Rebecca Raffler and David Fischer
Whether you're here for a quick trip or making a weekend of it, Charlotte has lots to offer! Here are some of our favorite spots:

NoDa

Charlotte, NC

Words cannot describe how much we love our neighborhood, which is why all of our events are going to be held around here. NoDa holds some of our favorite spots for eating and drinking, and has some great local shops. Highly recommend spending some time walking around and shopping local! Eat: Cabo Fish Taco, Ever Andalo, Haberdish, Noda Bodega (breakfast/lunch), Jack Browns (bar food), McHales (bar food), Zambies (late night pizza), Local Loaf (best breakfast you’ll ever have) Coffee: Caffeto Specialty Coffee, The Hobbyist, Smelly Cat Cafe, Amelie's French Bakery, Summit Coffee Bars: Jack Browns, McHales, Idlewild, The Good the Bad the Ugly, Divine Barrel Brewery, McHales Irish Pub, Copperhead Social Club, Salud, Noda Company Store (and many more)

Belmont/Plaza Midwood

Another area we love that's in the vicinity of our wedding events, for those who want to venture out! Eat: Optimist Hall, Calle Sol, Supperland, Workman's Friend, Mildbread, Painted Rooster, El Malo Tacos, DTR Plaza, Moo and Brew Coffee: Haraz Coffee, Undercurrent, The Giddy Goat Bars: Substrate, Birdsong Brewery, Workmans, DTR Plaza, Bohemian Wine Bar, Thirsty Beaver Saloon

Camp North End

300 Camp Road, Charlotte, NC 28206

Large compound near NoDa with restaurants, bars, shopping, and weekly events

South End

Charlotte, NC 28203

Another fun neighborhood with restaurants, boutiques, coffee shops, cocktail bars, breweries, with tons of areas to walk around. Too many places to list!

U.S. National Whitewater Center

5000 Whitewater Center Parkway, Charlotte, NC 28214

A massive outdoor experience with water sports, high ropes courses, biking/walking trails, or just a nice place to be outside and enjoy Fall in Charlotte.

Museum of Illusions - Charlotte

601 South Tryon Street, Charlotte, NC 28202

We once did date night here and it's a fun way to trick your mind.

The Mint Museum – Uptown

500 South Tryon Street, Charlotte, NC 28202

For the art lovers!

Optimist Hall

1115 North Brevard Street, Charlotte, NC 28206

Food hall near the venue with tons of great food options.

The Rail Trail

3.5 mile path throughout the city that connects neighborhoods and is great for walking, running, or cycling.

NASCAR Hall of Fame

400 East Martin Luther King Junior Boulevard, Charlotte, NC 28202

We still need to check it out, but if you're a Nascar fan then this is a great place to swing by for an afternoon.

For all the days along the way
