Question
When should I plan to arrive?
Answer
The boarding starts at the end of City Dock at 12:45PM with a prompt departure at 1PM. Please arrive between 12:30 and 12:45 to ensure the boat does not depart without you.

Is there air conditioning/sun coverage?
Answer
There are two levels to the boat - the first floor that will have seating and the bar will be air conditioned. The second, and top level has an awning over half of the deck.
Question
How long do we sail?
Answer
The cruise will last 3 hours from 1PM-4PM, and will sail around the Chesapeake Bay.
Question
Can I wear heels?
Answer
The Charter Company doesn't recommend heeled shoes (sandals, flats, or boat shoes are encouraged!) but if you simply must, a chunkier heel would be best to decrease the chance of scuffing the boat.

Is there a bad weather contingency?
Answer
We sail rain or shine, but keep thinking sunny thoughts! However, if there are rough seas, the boat will stay docked.

Can I smoke on deck?
Answer
The venue requests our guests do not smoke or vape anything on board.

What if I need to come back to shore early?
Answer
We will depart at 1PM and redock at 4PM - barring emergencies you'll be sailing on the boat with us for the event time.

Are children invited?
Answer
Although we love your little ones, this is an adult only affair. Due to the nature of the venue being on a boat and having open railings, we ask you to make other arrangements for your children. Thanks for understanding!

What is Coastal Cocktail?
Answer
We want our guests to be comfortable- it will likely be hot and with strong sun on the cruise. Wear light fabrics- breezy button downs with rolled or even short sleeves for men and flowy dresses/skirts or even jumpsuits for the women. Because this is an elopement style ceremony- there really aren't wedding colors so wear whatever colors you'd like!
