Question

Why isn’t the Hyatt Andares discount code working when I try to reserve my room online?

Answer

The Hyatt Andares discount code is not compatible with online reservations. To reserve your room at the discounted group rate, you must make your reservation by telephone or email. To reserve your room and use the discount code, either (1) call +52 (33) 3883-1234 and reference the group name (the “Rebecca Slowinski and Christian Pereyda Wedding”) or group discount code (REYCH), or (2) email hyattandares.reservations@hyatt.com and reference the group name or group discount code.

Question

How do I travel within Guadalajara after landing?

Answer

We recommend that guests use Uber to travel within Mexico, including to travel from the airport to their hotel and to return to the airport for their departures. To use Uber in Mexico without incurring unanticipated international charges, guests should make arrangements in advance of travelling, either with their mobile phone carriers or otherwise. For more information about Uber, visit https://www.uber.com/us/en/ride.

Question

How do I get to the wedding venue?

Answer

A shuttle will transport guests from the Hyatt Regency Andares Hotel to the wedding and reception venue the night of the wedding, and return guests to the hotel.

Question

Can I use my cell-phone in Mexico?

Answer

Yes, but you should make arrangements to avoid unanticipated international charges in advance of travelling. Most carriers provide international travel plans, and some include international service without additional charge (depending on customers' terms of service). Guests who do not wish to coordinate international service with their mobile carriers may, if their phones are not locked to a specific carrier, purchase SIM cards in the Guadalajara International Airport (GDL) to insert into their mobile devices for use while in Mexico.

Question

Did I just pay forty dollars for tacos?

Answer

No, you paid forty pesos, $40 (MXN). The American Dollar (USD) to Mexican Peso (MXN) exchange rate generally fluctuates around $1 (USD) - $20 (MXN), so you probably paid about two dollars for those tacos.
