When should I RSPV?

What is the dress code?

Answer

We prefer you to wear a cocktail or semi-formal attire. However, half of our reception venue is outside and there will be some outdoor games, so dress comfortably if you would like to play some cornhole! Our wedding colors are yellow and purple, so unless you want to match our bridal party, please avoid those colors.

When should I arrive for the ceremony?

Please arrive in time for you to find parking and a seat in the church for the ceremony. We will begin right at 4:00 PM.

Is there parking?

Answer

There is a parking garage at the ceremony reception right across the street from the church. Make sure to grab a parking voucher for the garage before you leave for the reception. There will also be street parking available. For the reception there is ample free parking in the parking lot.

Are children welcome?

Answer

Yes! We are both teachers and love children! If your children's names are on the invitation, then please bring your children. However, if they are not, please refrain from bringing your children. During the ceremony, there is a "pray and play" pew in the church nave for your children to spend time if they are wiggly. Also, please keep in mind there will be consumption of alcohol at the reception.

May I bring a date?

Answer

If we included your significant other's name or if "and guest" is on the invitation, you may bring a date. However, if we did not specify on your invitation, we ask that you do not bring a date to accommodate our guest limit for our venues. We appreciate your understanding.

May I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We ask you to refrain from taking photos during the ceremony so you can be completely present with us. Our photographer will take many photos, and there will be a video of the event as well. However, we encourage you to take videos and photos at the reception!

Will there be transportation to all the venues?

Answer

Unfortunately, there will not be transportation between venues.

Is there an open bar?

Answer

Yes! We will have an open bar at our reception. Please be aware that there will be children there, and drink responsibly.
