Maid of Honor
My one and only sister shares a special place in my heart... she's been here from the start! We once shared a room since before I could even remember! From our roommate years to our sister trips you've held my hand, secrets and giggles! Memories and moments too many to name them all but most of all I'm forever grateful, that God blessed with me a sister, one I can always call- and I do until she answers! She is my Sister and my Soror, my personal problem solver and fancy role model, always giving me the best champagne and caviar experiences! So it's only right she stands next to me and say "I Do" too!

This guy has been on my hip since Brother Martin High school... We've encounter numerous trips together and many life experiences. I have seen him grow as an individual and as a family man. It would by my pleasure to have this guy on my hip one more time.. Please help me welcome Jarred...

I gained a little sister when you and my God Brother said "I Do"! Plus who else will perform a full Beyonce concert with me but you!? Most of all you inspire me in all that you do, not only are you the most fly fulltime Coach's Wife, Boys Mom, caring Nurse- you keep me laughing and humble too! We swap recipes, stories, and you're always in my corner cheering me on! Your sweet spirit warms any room. You've coined and taught me the meaning of Beyonce's lyrics "always stay gracious..." one I carry and press play on daily! I'm proud to have you by my side as my friend, family and Matron of Honor!

My confidant and sister in Christ- New Zion Baptist Church introduced us in 2001 but God knew there was so much more to our friendship. From testifying to a stranger any and everywhere we go, to enjoying all of our favorites... mexican food, fashion, and fancy fun! You share fries and champagne with me, uplift me, and always first to show me there's another side to the story whether I want to hear it or not! Who but you is going to fluff my veil and sprinkle glitter too? You are my person! Kelli girl, its almost time to say "I do!"
Groomsman
Kenneth and I are 1st cousins, so of course I have known him since birth. However we connected like I would have never guessed after Katrina. I created a small business where I worked with Kenneth. We built a bond that I would never forget and will be always grateful was created. To this day. we still laugh about the challenges we faced and the NOLA heat we worked in during this business adventure. Love you man. Please help me welcome Kenneth!
Bridesmaid
1st Cousins are your first best friends, and Wanya and I share the "little sisters" bond in the bunch! You know it's always the youngest that can get away with doing THE MOST! She was old enough over me to give permission, yet young enough to provide all the funnnn when my big sister said No! I remember when I was in high school and you were in college you let me spend weekends with you and your Jackson State University roommates for the big games. Although I wasn't old enough to join in the football after parties, I enjoyed playing dress up in your closet and watching the flaming dr. pepper pre party's! You always give the best advise, and brighten up any room that you're in! To know you, is to love you...
Groomsman
I call him Jo Jo... This big cousin played EVERYTHING... Every time I remember seeing him while we were young was at the park, playing baseball, football, soccer, basketball, you name it.... I remember spending a summer in Birmingham with Smith's. They treated me like I was one of the Kids. Jo Jo is a living testament of believing in yourself and beating the odds. He has encouraged me throughout my career that sometimes you have to leave the comfort zone to get to your goal. It was a necessary to have this influencer by my side for this special occasion. Please help me welcome JoJo...
Bridesmaid
My Jess, we met at Alcorn State University Nursing School in 2007 and we have been friends since, seems like so long ago but we always stayed close to celebrate and encourage one another in our Nursing journey! I always tell my Nursing students now, "Get you a Jesslyn, a friend that's going to walk with you until the end!" Although we had opposite study schedules- I was the night owl and she was the sun-riser but we kept each other... sharpening one another and laughing when we really wanted to cry through clinical rotations! Lol. You are never far away, and always there for every birthday and milestone no matter the city.. and I wouldn't have it any other other way!
Groomsman
I met this guy light years ago while I attended Saint James Major Elementary school. Yes Elementary! Jared played on the opposing team at that time. After elementary school, we showed up at the same high school, Brother Martin. After high school, he showed up at UNO. After UNO, he showed up in Baton Rouge. This guys always shows up! Although he is not Team Brees, I figured he would be a good fit to spend my special day with. Please help me welcome Jared....
Bridesmaid
37 years of friendship and over 400 miles apart you're still never far from my heart! We were blessed from the womb, born a month and day apart our mothers knew from the start! From the countless sleepovers, family vacations, Girls Scout troop and your grandmother's carpooling days until college sent us our ways... but we always found a way whether it was on Amtrak or by car, you introduced me to Beale Street and I gave you Bourbon Street! I am forever proud to share my best and biggest life moments with you! I see so much of you in your little girls, you never cease to amaze me then and now as an amazing wife, mom, sister, teacher, Pediatric Nurse, friend and forever family to me!
Groomsman
This guy has been around forever. I have known him since a toddler. When he moved from Southeastern from college I never though working with me for 2 summers would be a journey we would never forget. During this journey of "working", this led him to my 1st Engineering job. We have appreciated many long nights on Bayou St. John, Zulu balls, Detroit, California, Texas, now in my wedding party. Please help me welcome Anthony...
Flower Girl
Upon our special request, in true Madi's style she sent us a video response, "Yes! I'll be the Flower Girl.." and Uncle Chris and I are just as excited to share her with you! She enjoys playing with her dolls and her big sister. When she's not leading her class in Kindergarten, you can find her baking holiday cookies and if you're around her long enough she may offer to read you a book, paint you an original picture, and if you're really special she'll offer you a seat in very own styling station for hair and makeup!
Ring Bearer
When this smart guy isn't practicing his own hooping skills and in the books... You can find this little guy on the basketball court near the bench or huddled with the players on his dad's basketball team taking and giving pointers! Jaylen is a 4th grader who enjoys sports and playing with his new little brother. Who better to guard the rings than the best point guard!
Hostess
Rebecca and Patrice's relationship as one of the Smith Sister's other Sister was birth at JSU as Rebecca's sister's college roommate and the rest is herstory! They each share in the illustrious sisterhood of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. Never far away and always there with a smile and helping Yes... to ensure this day goes as seamless as possible.

This guys is always there for our best and biggest moments! I don't know who cheered the loudest "we're getting married". I'm so grateful you're not only Rebecca's cousin, little big brother but a true friend and definition of family to both Christian and Chante'!
