Why a beachside wedding?

Answer

We both love the water. Christian has been comfortable with water ever since he was 9 months old, which led to his first job as a lifeguard in high school. Rebecca (not as fancy as Christian) loved the water since she was 4 years old and her love for the tropics grew after her first international trip to the Dominican Republic.

Where is the wedding ceremony taking place?

Answer

We have officially decided FLORIDA!! Our wedding ceremony will be by the beach at Parmer’s Resort.

Where is the reception taking place?

Answer

Our wedding reception will also be at Parmer’s Resort. It will be an outdoor reception, but it will be on a lawn. Food and drinks will be provided. This will not be a traditional reception, but be ready for games, good music, and new memories!

How does group stay work?

Answer

We have the onsite resort - Parmer’s Resort. Please visit the Travel page to make your reservations. Important Info: 1. There are only 32 rooms available, so it is first come first served. 2. Minimum stay is 2 nights: Dec. 3 - Dec. 5 3. Speak with family/friends, you will get a better value when you stay with more people. Due to limited amount of rooms at Parmer’s, we are working with another hotel to book a group stay. We will reach out to those who would like the offsite location.

Where can I find out about Parmer’s Resort?

For more information on the resort, please visit the Travel page on this website. The link to the resort and rates will be provided. It’s time to book your stay!! Don’t wait till the last minute, because it is first come, first served. FYI: You can bring your pets - it’s $50 per day (they won’t charge more than $200 if you are staying more than 4 days).

Are my children able to attend?

Yes! Bring your kids. We will have fun activities for them too!

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

Yes! Guests are more than welcomed! There should be an extra guest included in the invite, but if you would like to invite someone else, please let us know.

Will travel and accommodations be covered?

Answer

While we’d love to cover everything, guests are responsible for their own travel and lodging. For easy transportation for the wedding ceremony and after the reception, we recommend for you to stay at Parmer’s Resort. But, feel free to stay where you know you’ll have a good time!

What’s the dress code?

We’re going for beach formal — think flowy dresses, linen suits, and comfy shoes (sand-friendly!). More specific guidance will be included with your invitation. IMPORTANT: Please wear BLUE (any shade)!

Do you have a wedding registry?

Answer

Instead of a traditional registry, we’ve created a honeymoon fund to help us create memories that will last a lifetime. If you’d like to contribute, we would be so grateful — but please know that your love and support are the greatest gifts of all. Our honeymoon fund is located under “Registry”.
