Where should I fly in?

Answer

Our home in Rochester and our ceremony location at Millersylvania State Park are located smack dab between SeaTac and PDX airports. We usually prefer to travel out of PDX due to lighter traffic but you should plan your flight around additional activities and sites you may want to see in the city.

Where should I stay?

Answer

If you have time outside of the ceremony we highly recommend you enjoy the Washington playground. Some of our favorite sites are listed under the things to do tab. We recommend having ample time for each as most of them are day trips in the car. Our wedding party will be hosted at our home in Rochester, Washington. There are hotel accommodations in grand mound, Washington and we will have group rates at the grand mound Fairfield Inn. Please contact us if you’re interested in Fairfield and group rates. If you prefer an Airbnb recommend looking in the Tumwater/ Olympia location, approximately 10 minutes from our ceremony site and 30 minutes from our home.

What is the dress attire?

Answer

Please wear something that makes you feel beautiful, but note the ceremony is in the forest and party in our back yard. We would hate to have your best shoes ruined! We would love if you'd wear a dark gem tone. Basically any dark solid tone will do. We like a palate of dark reds, burgundy, navy blues, deep purple, greens, black on black on black (always).
