Question

What are your plans regarding COVID?

Answer

While we're hopeful we'll be able to stick with our planned date, our guests' safety is our top priority. We'll continue to monitor the situation and follow expert guidelines. Please note, all guests must be fully vaccinated to attend any of the wedding events. It's a good idea to have a physical or virtual copy of your vaccination card, as many venues require proof of vaccination.

Question

Can I bring my children?

Answer

As much as we love your little ones, we ask that you please not bring your children if they're under 12. We hope this advance notice means you’re able to let your hair down and celebrate with us on the day!

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is cocktail attire. Please keep in mind this is fall in upstate New York. While the average high temperature in Troy in late October is around 60 degrees, at night the temperature could dip into the low 40s or upper 30s.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Our ceremony will begin at 4pm. Guests are welcome to begin arriving at 3:15pm.

Question

How will we get from the ceremony to the reception?

Answer

The Best Western and Marriott hotels are a two and ten-minute walk to the ceremony (First United Presbyterian Church), respectively. It is a five-minute walk from the ceremony to the reception (Brown's Brewing - Revolution Hall). For those who would prefer to take a shuttle, we will be providing shuttles from both the Best Western and the Marriott to the ceremony and then from the ceremony to the reception. Once details are finalized, we will let you know when the shuttle service will begin (likely 3 PM). **Please note, there will be no shuttle service at the end of the evening (i.e. from the reception/after party back to the hotels).**

Question

Where should I park?

Answer

For guests staying at either hotel, parking is complimentary. If you are not staying at one of the hotels and plan to drive directly to the ceremony, there is a small parking lot adjacent to the church, but it will fill up quickly. There is also limited street parking near the church as well as a variety of municipal lots and garages, including Front Street Parking Lot and Uncle Sam Parking Garage.

Question

Will food and drinks be served at the reception?

Answer

We will begin with a cocktail hour that will include a variety of hor d'oeuvres and an open bar, which will run the duration of the reception. We will have a seated, plated dinner. Guests will choose from four entrees upon receiving a formal invitation.

Question

How Do I RSVP?

Answer

Right here on the website -- please do so by October 1st! Go the last tab, "RSVP," and enter your first and last name. As the prompt says, do not add "Mr.," "Ms.," etc., -- simply your first and last name. All guests attached to your invite will populate, i.e.. If you and a significant other are invited, you won't need to RSVP individually; you and your S.O. will be on the same "ticket"!

Question

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Yes, we encourage guests to post pictures! Our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #QuinntessentialLove so we can keep track of all of your pictures!
