Our story began with a RAIN CHECK. We met while Blake was working at his second job and I was visiting one of my best friends. Let's just say there was lots of subtle or not so subtle eye contact and smiles from across the room in the interim before Blake finally asked me out for drinks after work. I, playing coy, decided that it was late and asked for a rain check on the date? Blake accepted my offer and we exchanged numbers. Little did I know how driven and persistent Blake would be because he made sure I paid up on my rain check. He asked me out the following weekend to which I said yes. It wasn't long after, that every weekend and even some week days we were driving an hour to see each other. This is how our romance began....
