If you’re coming from New York City, the train is an easy and scenic option! Both routes below use the Metro-North New Haven Line departing from Grand Central Terminal. Trains run frequently throughout the day, and travel time is approximately 45–60 minutes, depending on the train and stop you choose. For both options, you’ll take a short Uber or Lyft ride from the station to the hotel. Option 1: Get off at Greenwich Station - Shortest car ride to the Hyatt Regency Greenwich (~5-10 minutes) - Train service is slightly less frequent - Some trains make more local stops, which can mean a longer ride Option 2: Get off at Stamford Station - Slightly farther from the hotel than Greenwich (~10-15 minutes) - More frequent train service - Greater availability of express trains from NYC You can buy Metro-North tickets in several ways: - At a ticket counter in Grand Central Terminal - From station ticket machines - Via the MTA TrainTime app
