We first met at school and quickly became close friends. After a couple of years of laughter, memories, and shared adventures, we decided it was time to make things official. Since leaving school, we’ve built a life together — from getting our first jobs, to buying our home, our cars, and exploring the world on holidays.
Keeping the proposal a secret was the hardest thing Aaron has ever done. Hiding the ring from Rebecca—who, as everyone knows, has a touch of OCD and believes everything has its place—was no small feat. Things got tricky at the airport when Aaron became very protective over his suitcase. A small argument broke out over taking out his liquids (Rebecca always keeps the key and had wandered off), and Aaron quietly had a full-on panic attack thinking the ring wouldn't even make it to Paris. Rebecca, convinced the trip was going to be full of bickering, braced herself. But then everything changed. Aaron—known for being pretty horizontal about life—suddenly had a full schedule planned for their time in Paris. Rebecca was shocked (and maybe a little suspicious), but went along with it. When they finally made it to the Eiffel Tower, Aaron knew this was the moment. He got down on one knee… and Rebecca's first response was: "No wayy—get up!" But once the shock wore off and everything sank in, she said yes. And now, we're ready for the biggest adventure yet: to tie the knot and begin the next chapter as husband and wife.
