What do I need to know about attending the ceremony at the Naval Academy Chapel?

Answer

The Chapel at the US Naval Academy is beautiful! It is located on an active military base, so getting there is a bit complicated. We have coordinated transportation from the hotels to the Chapel, so please let us know when you RSVP if you'd like a seat! If you would like to drive yourself, you may access the base with an active duty, retired, or dependent ID card. Parking can get a little tricky, so please give yourself plenty of time to park!

US Naval Academy weddings run on a tight timeline. Please plan to be in your seat at 1:45!

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

We have coordinated transportation from the hotels to the Chapel, as well as to and from the reception venue. When you RSVP, please let us know if you and your party would like a seat! If you prefer to drive yourself, there is parking at our reception venue.

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is black tie optional. Our reception venue has outdoor areas and a lawn, so consider bringing a jacket and shoes with a block heel!
