'Tis the Season to be Married

A few months after moving to Pittsburgh for work in January 2018, Walter was looking for a soccer team to join. Luckily, one of Becca's teams was in need of another player and he joined her team as a free agent. Becca was first attracted to Walt's skills on the field and recruited him to her other teams. At first she just acted as his agent, but they quickly advanced to more than just a working relationship. They bonded over their love of the sport and playing defense and, despite supporting rival Premier League teams (her-Liverpool, him-Manchester United), became partners on and off the field.

Becca should have suspected something when Walt was the one to suggest they take their dog Phil out for a snowy walk. It was 2 days after Christmas (Becca's favorite holiday) and his grandparents anniversary. They were throwing snowballs for Phil to chase and decided to make snow angels. Knowing Walt has bad knees Becca went over to help him up. Wary, she said "You're not going to pull me back down into the snow are you?". His response took her by the best surprise as he got down on his (one good) knee: "No, but I am going to ask you something". Becca immediately burst into tears and Walt had to clarify that she had actually said yes. Phil then got jealous of all the attention Walt was getting so they celebrated by continuing to throw snow balls.
