It happened in a flash at a 2018 December darty - for our more mature guests, that’s a college party thrown during the day! Rebecca and Vince locked eyes across the crowded backyard of a Bucknell fraternity. Rebecca casually made her way over to the very cute brown eyed boy whom she had never seen before. Turns out he was a Dickinson college senior visiting a friend for the weekend. Introductions were made and they shared a quick conversation, connecting over their shared obsessions with Philly cheesesteaks and The Eagles! Vince will tell you Rebecca was the prettiest girl he had ever seen before. The day they met, he texted a friend, “I’m in love.” After that serendipitous meeting, Vince DM’d Rebecca on Instagram. They attended each other’s date parties and had a blast together. Rebecca loved Vince’s sweet daily check-ins asking how her day was. She found him refreshingly thoughtful and kind. She learned he was a devoted athlete playing on his college squash and golf teams. He had super fun hobbies like fly fishing, surfing, and snow boarding. Vince admired Rebecca’s work ethic and focus on her pre Physician Assistant studies. He noticed how nurturing she was with friends and how bonded she was to family. After graduation their love continued to blossom. They began their careers and Rebecca eventually started PA school in Philadelphia. Vince was her rock through a rigorous academic program. He sustained her with his love, endless patience, and delicious food. Vince came to Rebecca’s apartment every Friday and prepared her meals for the entire week ahead. At the start of 2024, with PA school complete and Vince’s career taking off, the two embarked on their next chapter together - they picked up and moved to Denver, Colorado! Surrounded by the magnificent Rockies, they have built a wonderful life filled with hard work, dear friends, and endless outdoor adventures. Little did they know, that five minute conversation at a college darty was the beginning of a beautiful lifetime together.
