Although we don't remember the first time we met, it happened early Freshman year at Tulane University. Both from South Florida, we bonded over shared experiences growing up - visiting the Fort Lauderdale Museum of Discovery and Science as kids (perhaps our first true meeting spot), attending Marlins games, and enjoying weekends at the beach. Next door neighbors our Junior year, one thing led to another, and friendship became romance. Over the course of Mardi Gras festivities, live music and meals across New Orleans, we fell in love. After seven years, and moving in together in NYC, Max finally worked up the courage to propose - and we can't wait to celebrate the start of the rest of our lives with you all.
Max’s grandparents purchased Good Hope in 1989 with a group of close friends. Passionate about farming and architecture, they set about lovingly renovating it. This gorgeous property on the edge of Jamaica’s Cockpit Country became the place for many extended family celebrations: weddings (including Max's parents), anniversaries, birthdays and holidays. A place where we could gather together for walks, bike rides, river swims, bonfires, yoga and quiet contemplation. We love this beautiful spot and cannot wait to share it with you.
