There are several options available to easily get around the Birmingham area. Marriott Shuttle: Those staying at the Marriott can take the complimentary shuttle anywhere within a 5-mile radius of the hotel (such as downtown Birmingham and Somerset Mall) between 7:00 a.m and 11:00 p.m Driving: If you are driving from home or renting a car, parking at the Marriott is complimentary (unfortunately, the Marriott does not offer a shuttle to and from the airport). Public Transportation: Uber and Lyft are everywhere!

Wedding Transportation

The ceremony will begin at 5:00 p.m., but we recommend arriving by 4:30 p.m. to get settled. Oakland Hills is a 15 minute drive from the Marriott and a 10 minute drive from the Townsend. Marriott Shuttle: Both the Marriott hotel shuttle and a MetroCar shuttle will leave the Marriott at 4:00 p.m. for drop off at Oakland Hills. The MetroCar shuttle will do a late drop off upon returning from the first ride around 4:30 p.m. The MetroCar shuttle will be available to return guests to the Marriott from 10:00 p.m. until 1:00 a.m. to return guests to the Marriott hotel. Parking at Oakland Hills: Valet parking is complimentary. Public Transportation: Uber and Lyft are everywhere and can drop you off at the front door of Oakland Hills!
