Mount Auburn Cemetery
This is our favorite place in Boston for a long stroll. It's lovely all year, but in late summer and early fall, it shines its brightest. Seriously, it's a unique place and you should do your best not to miss it!
The Freedom Trail
If you want a taste of American history and a stellar walk through the best of Boston's revolutionary landmarks, check out the Freedom Trail. Some might call it "touristy," but Jake calls it "the best free history lesson in Boston." Do it by yourself or with a guided group.
Fenway Park
It's Fenway Park. If you're the kind of person who wants to check out this historic ballpark, no introduction is necessary. Hot tip: the Red Sox play the Yankees in Fenway on Thursday, September 14.
Museum of Fine Arts, Boston
If you're into all that a world-class museum can offer, check out the MFA.
Boston Public Library - Central Library
Filled with Hogwarts-like charm. Jake spent many days studying in the Bates Hall Reading Room during law school.
Charles River Esplanade
A beautiful place for a walk, bike, or beer garden hang. Jake biked this river every day to work for over a year!
Pammy's Restaurant
One of Rebecca's favorite restaurants. Treat yourself to a great vibe and even better cocktails. Reservations are a must, but we have snuck in and grabbed bar seats on busy nights.
Sofra Bakery & Cafe
Sofra is a Middle Eastern bakery, cafe, and retail store. Seriously good eats. Beware, the line can get long on sunny days, but you can always order ahead.
Alden & Harlow
One of our favorite places for cocktails and small plates. We went on our second date here!
Intelligentsia Coffee Watertown Coffeebar
Intelligentsia has the best coffee and teas around, and this quaint coffee bar near the venue, Sofra, and Mount Auburn cemetery is the perfect place for your morning coffee and pastry. Jake recommends for coffee snobs, and Rebecca recommends for killer teas and baked goods.
