We first met in middle school. The new girl caught Garrett's eye, he saw a pretty redhead walk out of class one day and started to ask around to figure out just who she was. He was too nervous to ask her out. As years went by we began to hang out more, the two started getting feelings for each other. Rebecca graduated high school, and we went our separate ways, until a 3 am phone call from Garrett. Months went by with the couple messaging each other daily. June 23, 2017 is the day the two became one.

03.12.19 Garrett sat down with Curtis (Rebecca's dad), and asked him for Rebecca's hand in marriage. 03.22.19 Garrett and Rebecca headed to Monroe City to see Garrett's family. After one super cold night, we got up to explore Hannibal. Rebecca knew something was up, Garrett had packed all her clothes for this trip, her makeup, and taken her to get her hair done the night before. We visited the lighthouse, went and had pizza for lunch, and then headed to Lovers Leap. At lovers leap the two were looking over the edge admiring the view. As Rebecca turned around Garrett was on one knee behind her. Rebecca's face lit up, the first thing she said was "did you ask my dad?". Garrett was thrown off and forgot his whole speech. Garrett asked her if she would marry him and she said YES!
