What do I need to know for Welcome Drinks?

Answer

We rented the second floor of Buffalo Billiards from 8pm-10pm. There will be full use of pool tables, dart boards, and shuffle board. We'll have dessert options and your first drink is on us. Bring your ID - they check at the door! Casual attire is absolutely fine.

Will there be transportation from the hotels?

Answer

Both the Renaissance Hotel and Hotel Monaco are within walking distance from the venue, so no transportation will be provided. They are a 4 and 3 minute walk away, respectively.

Where do I park for the wedding?

Answer

We will have valet parking attendants outside of the venue starting at 4:30pm. There is no expense to park.

The ceremony starts at 5:30pm. When do I show up?

Answer

Doors open at 5pm. Please arrive early for a welcome glass of champagne before the ceremony, which will start promptly at 5:30pm.

What does Black Tie Optional mean?

Answer

Floor length formal dresses for women, and tuxes or dark suits for men.

There was no food choice on the RSVP. What will I be eating?

Answer

Come hungry! There will be a cocktail hour and a half with all the hors d'oeuvres you can think of. Dinner will be ordered table side with a choice of beef, chicken, fish and a vegetarian option. Abundant dessert will follow. If you have any restrictions or allergies, please reach out to the bride and groom or let the staff know when you order.

Will there be an after party?

Answer

For those that want to keep the party going after the reception ends at midnight, we will make our way back to the Renaissance Hotel lobby bar. There will be a DJ and more food :)

What is hotel parking like?

Answer

The Renaissance has valet for $65 per day, and Hotel Monaco is $59 + tax per day. There is a self-park option at The Bourse Building which is behind the Renaissance Hotel. Rates range from $28 to $32 per day.
