We're getting married!

Tyler reached out to Rebeca to see how she had been doing. After some time catching up over Facebook messenger, Tyler asked if she would want to get some coffee or lunch. Rebeca agreed and took him to a little sushi place in Newark where the two caught up even more. They discussed college classes, Rebeca's trip to the Philippines, how their lives had been since they last spoke over a year ago. Neither of them thought anything of it at first, but Rebeca was leaving to Guatemala and despite the distance they talked constantly. After her three week trip she returned and they both knew that this was something more than just a friendship.

Tyler had just left for a "referee clinic" in "Cincinnati" or so Rebeca thought. Really Tyler had been planning for weeks the engagement to catch Rebeca off guard. Rebeca went to a bridal shower that day and was all dressed up looking her best and while she thought Tyler was in a class all day, he was really running around New York City trying to get the proposal perfect. His goal was to steal a little piece of the Highline Park for his soon to be fiancé. He had he flowers in hand and a smile on his face as he set up the area where he would propose. Family and friends came in for the moment and hid. Rebecas mother and sister led Rebeca onto the Highline after a day of shopping in Chelseas market. As they walked closer to Tylers location Michelle, Rebecas sister, commented "Wow that guy looks like Tyler". Rebecas head shot up as she looked to find the Tyler look alike. To her surprise she sees Tyler standing there and he looks at her smiles and says "Hi, im not in Cincinnati" and in that moment she knew what was about to happen. Tyler had surprised her for sure, he got one knee and asked Rebeca to marry him and as she said yes. They hear a roar of cheers and looks over to see all their loved ones standing there smiling and taking photos. A day that she thought was coming weeks later had arrived and the two of them could happily say that they were engaged!
