Clark’s Aspen has become an Aspen institution for all things seafood including freshly shucked oysters, crudo, lobster roll, daily fish specials, caviar and blini, and bowls of chowder and cioppino. Inspired by the New England Coast (with a nod to a few California classics), Clark’s features a warm and intimate dining room (including a centerpiece fireplace), bar and marble oyster bar popular for apres ski cocktails and a Gruyere-topped burger. Don’t skip on their key lime tart - it’s our favorite! Clark’s is open for lunch and dinner, seven days a week.
The White House Tavern resides in the historic A.G. Sheppard House at 302 East Hopkins Avenue. The house was built in 1883 on a lot purchased from Isaac Cooper for $300. It served as a miner’s cottage at the turn of the century and it remains one of the oldest structures in Aspen. The White House Tavern offers premium sandwiches along with distinctive wines, beers, and cocktails. Our favorite dish is the house smoked salmon!

The word refers to a feeling of warmth, friendliness, and a sense of belonging, which guests experience in this charming candle-lit hideaway. Family heirlooms adorn the walls, while soft sheepskins dress the comfy chairs. A heated patio and a street-level lounge invite guests to relax with a glass of wine while taking in the spectacular mountain views and watch the world go by.
