Fond du Lac, WI

Welcome!

We hope to see you this summer in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin! Our wedding will be held at the Winnebago Park Clubhouse, near the Reath's family residence on the east side of lake Winnebago. We are excited for our out of town guests to experience the area, please check out the things to do page for recommendations during your stay! Our RSVP page is currently live, so if you would like to confirm your attendance feel free to do so. We also recommend booking travel plans as soon as possible, particularly hotel reservations as space may be limited as the date approaches (see travel page for more information).

Wedding Guidelines Regarding COVID-19

Dear Friends and Family, We can’t wait to celebrate with you on our wedding day. We understand the implications of having our wedding during this time, and have been carefully considering any and all options we have after we decided we are moving forward. First of all, we want everyone to understand that they are under no obligation to come to our wedding if they feel it is unsafe to do so, even if you have already RSVP’d (please just let us know so we can update our guest count). A number of friends and family members have already notified us that they will need to abstain from the event, so please understand that you are not alone if you decide not to attend. We would love to have everyone there to celebrate with us, but we completely understand and respect your choice if you decide you are unable to come. We have put a great deal of effort into establishing precautionary measures according to the CDC recommendations as well as other guidelines set by similar events that we considered to be well thought out. With that being said, here are the guidelines that we will be setting for our wedding, please read these carefully:

_________________

• Please do your best to self-quarantine and reduce your risk of exposure in the week leading up to the wedding. If anybody has had confirmed contact with someone who tests positive for COVID-19 or other form of likely exposure or is experiencing symptoms of COVID-19, they will not be permitted to attend. This includes everybody, even the bride and groom! • When you check in, you will be asked for an email address to use for contact tracing in the event that an exposure risk is discovered after the wedding. • Masks will be provided when you check in. Wearing a mask will be mandatory for certain parts of the event, and strongly encouraged whenever possible. If you have a medical condition that makes it impossible to wear a mask, let us know at check in and we will make accommodations. • When you arrive and check in, you will be provided a choice of wristband to wear; Green= I am ok with socializing, Yellow= I am ok with socializing at a 6ft distance, and Red= Please stay clear; we hope that our guests will respect each individual’s choice and follow these guidelines. • Hand sanitizer will be widely available and we recommend frequent use. • Dinner will occur in two shifts to limit the number of people eating at one time and to ensure adequate space for seating. • All activities will occur outdoors or under an open tent with a number of options to space out and distance from others. • All of these guidelines are assuming that the weather will permit an outdoor event. If rain or other inclement weather occurs, we may need to take drastic measures to avoid packing our guests into a confined space. Our tentative rain plan is to hold the ceremony in the tent, but will likely have to cancel the reception. The bottom line is to keep an eye on the weather, and if rain is in the forecast you may want to rethink attending.

In order for our wedding to be safe, everybody needs to take these guidelines seriously. Remember that respecting the rules is not only to protect yourself, but also the rest of our guests, including those who are at a higher risk for COVID-19. This is undoubtedly going to be an unconventional wedding, but we still have a really fun night planned and want everybody to enjoy themselves. Until then, stay safe and pray for good weather!
