We're Getting Married

We met at Carrington Middle school but didn't really know each other until meeting again at Riverside High School. After graduation we were able to stay in touch thanks to social media. In October 2015, the conversations became more lengthy and frequent. After a shopping trip at the mall I (Nikki) went to my car and realized my battery was dead. The first person I thought to call was Corey (my mechanic friend). He showed up in 5 mins lol!! That was Londyn's first time meeting him and of course she had lot's of questions. That night reminded me just how amazing my high school friend was. Needless to say, our friendship quickly became more and we had our 1st date in November. Look at us now, ready to spend the rest of forever together.

We had travel to Chattanooga, TN for Londyn's gymnastics competition. The Awards ceremony went well Londyn won first place All-Around and everything was AWESOME. The announcer asked everyone to remain seating for ONE LAST award. He said "may I have Ms. Nicole Starnes to come to the stage?" I'm thinking "they are about to give Londyn a special award and I'm going to present it to her. THEN I hear the announcer say "can I have Mr. Corey come to the stage?" I am standing there looking like OMG what is going on!!!! Corey goes on with his speech.... and then he say "I want to ask you, WILL YOU MARRY ME!!" I was caught totally off guard, no time to look cute, get dressed up, put my LASHES on, NOTHING (lol). ! I find out later my Mother and Corey had it all planned out from the time we got there. If you know Corey he is sorta shy and doesn't like to speak in front of large crowds so this was WAY OUT OF THE ORDINARY and I didn't suspect a thing. Needless to say I finally said YES and here we are on our way to FOREVER #RealloveRoberson
