FAQs

Question

Where should we park?

Answer

There will be limited parking at our reception venue, but the church and its' school have an average sized parking lot and we recommend that you carpool if you are travelling an hour or more to celebrate with us. There is also ample parking along Lakeshore Drive- it is a short walk to the church campus from Mandeville's beautiful lakefront.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We ask that you RSVP immediately, even if it is after the requested date! RSVP's are due by August 21, 2024.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your children as much as we love you. Unfortunately, due to the nature of our venue and the size of our reception, we ask that anyone under the age of 18 not attend.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Anyone who has been allotted a plus one will find "and guest" next to their name when submitting an RSVP.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We are registered on Amazon, Target.com, and on Zola's website. You can find a link to a universal registry at the top of this web page. :-)

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony will begin promptly at 6:00 PM. You are welcome to begin being seated as early as 5:45 PM. Don't forget that we will second-line from the church to the venue, so please hang around in the church courtyard following the ceremony! 100% cotton handkerchiefs will be available at the church's exit for your use during the parade.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our dress code is modest semi-formal/cocktail attire. Tips: Avoid sequins, rhinestones, and feathers. All shades of pinks and red are encouraged! (Hats, jeans, and tennis shoes are a no-no.) Please note that our venue will be partially outdoors, so wear shoes that you feel your best in!
