TBD - this will be listed once our formal invitations have been sent
The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Think cocktail dresses or a suit and tie or a sports coat.
Early October in North Carolina is typically very mild and warm, usually around the low 70°s during the day, but since the ceremony will be outside (weather permitting), you may consider a light jacket or wrap as the evening may be cooler.
Both the ceremony and reception will take place at The Cookery: 1101 W Chapel Hill St Durham, NC 27701 No transportation between ceremony and reception is needed.
* Cocktail hour and party time! * Formal schedule of the night is to come. Stay tuned!
Wedding Weekend events TBD and will be updated accordingly
Due to the space limitations of our venue, we unfortunately have to limit the rehearsal dinner guest list to those who will be playing a role in the ceremony. We apologize in advance to those who are not included.
Durham is a hot spot for Uber and Lyft services. This is highly recommend for getting to and from the venue. If you are driving to the venue, there will be free Valet service provided on site. The venue is located at 1101 West Chapel Hill Street, Durham, NC, 27701. Just look for the building with the big sign shaped like a skillet!
Help us get the party started as scheduled! We recommend that you arrive 30-45 minutes before the start of the ceremony to make sure everyone is seated on time: The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30pm.
There will be a free Valet Service offered for those driving in. Rideshare service is recommended.
While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.
While we'd love to have everyone join in the celebration, we unfortunately have limited space and our celebration is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your wedding invitation. Please refer to the invitation to see if you have a plus one.
We do! Please refer to the Accommodations tab to find our room blocks. Because it is still early, we will be adding more in the new year- check back for updates. However, there are many hotels and short term rentals in the Durham area that you may choose.
After the wedding ceremony, we will be serving light passed hors d’oeuvres accompanied by an open bar. We invite you to toast to our nuptials with a curated selection of wine, beer, and cocktails.
Absolutely! We will have a buffet style dinner at the reception.
Food will be labeled accordingly at the buffet if they include common allergens. If you are vegetarian or vegan, please indicate when you RSVP, so we can let the kitchen know ahead of time.
We are so thankful you will be joining us for this celebration of our love. While gifts are not expected, we have registered for a few items. A link to our wedding registry can be found under the Registry tab. (*Still under construction*)
There will not be any formal transportation service, due to the large amount of Rideshare services in the area. Please plan accordingly.
Yes! We recommend visiting the ‘Things to Do’ page of our wedding website, where we will be compiling all of our favorite local hot spots and fun things to do in the area, including coffee shops, spas and restaurants to visit before or after the wedding. Stay tuned for updates there!
