The plan to set them up started on the Smackover football field. After some convincing, they started talking and never stopped. Katy and John met for the first time on that same field. He was sweaty because he had just played his senior homecoming game, she was sweaty because he was cute. Two days later, on October 14, 2018 they became official. On September 4, 2020 he proposed a few feet from where they first met. Now, on their 5 year anniversary they're getting married!
